WELCOME
Welcome to the Portraits of Christ Ministries. We are just an arm of evangelism. We are just a pencil in the Hands of God to be used for his glory.
We believe the Bible to be Holy inspired and written by men of wisdom and should be used every day in our daily walk with Christ. The reason the old sinner doesn’t like the Bible, “I know this to be true, is because the Bible tells us all about ourselves and our sinful nature and what we need to do to make it right with the Father. One of my old sayings is just simply “Get right or get left. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." |
ABOUT Ray Griffin
Seven Steps of the Christian Life
Seven Steps of the Christian Life
I was born in Antioch, California in 1950.
I settled in Vanceboro, N.C., population 865.
With a stop sign on all four corners of the only downtown intersection. Never dreamed or entertained the thought of ever carrying the Gospel of Christ, one must wonder how God works to use an old wretch such as I.
I was 37 years old before I surrendered to preach and carry the gospel for the Lord. Through a series of life threatening events and many days in the Hospital, I finally gave into God, who has a way of getting our attention. Now I wish I would have surrendered at a younger age instead of wasting my best years.
I am now presently working at a correctional center in Vanceboro, sharing the gospel with inmates.
I have also been a chaplain for many years with the local police dept.
